Dr. Mainolfi is a Board-Certified Therapeutic Optometrist (Eye Doctor) licensed in Maryland (MD), Delaware (DE) and Pennsylvania (PA). He received his Doctorate from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry and attended the University of Maryland Baltimore County for his Bachelor degree. Dr. Mainolfi did his Delaware internship at Optometry Associates before working for Delaware Ophthalmology Consultants in Wilmington, Delaware (DE). There he received extensive training in multiple eye specialties working with Delaware's Top Ophthalmology Doctors. During that time Dr. Mainolfi received extensive knowledge on the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the eye including, retina, cornea, glaucoma, cataracts, refractive surgery, pediatric eye care and primary eye care. Dr. Mainolfi also became well versed in the management of pre and post-surgical patients. During his time at Delaware (DE) Ophthalmology Consultants Dr. Mainolfi pioneered the fitting of contact lenses including specialty areas such as keratoconus and post-surgical cases.
